Addiction Policy Forum was created by families impacted by this disease. Founded in 2015, they are working in states and communities across the country to end stigma, help patients and families in crisis and translate the science around addiction. Their vision is to eliminate addiction as a major health problem. They lead the fight against the deadly consequences of addiction and help patients, families, and communities affected by the disease. The Addiction Policy Forum is a nationwide nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating addiction as a major health problem. Their national headquarters are located in Washington, DC with resources and services in every state.

ASPIN Opioid Workforce Expansion Program “The mission of ASPIN is to provide innovative educational programs, resource management, program development, and network management in collaboration with all healthcare entities to address health disparities and whole health management.” Certified Community Health Worker (CCHW), Substance Use Disorder (SUD)-Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) Treatment Designation. The ASPIN Opioid Workforce Expansion Program (AOWEP) will expand the core CCHW training to address the opioid crisis in 10 Indiana rural counties: Huntington, Kosciusko, Marshall, Marion, Putnam, Sullivan, Decatur, Henry, Jefferson, and Howard.

CADCA, a nonprofit organization committed to creating safe, healthy and drug-free communities globally, offers a variety of training opportunities, from conference-style training events to its signature National Coalition Academy to statewide and coalition-level trainings to online courses and webinars for every position and experience level of your coalition. CADCA also offers short and long-form publications, webinars, podcasts, CADCA TV broadcast shows and toolkits to help you prevent and reduce alcohol, tobacco or other drugs.

Years of research and knowledge of evidence-based practices show that well-designed mental health prevention, treatment, and recovery support efforts are effective and can have multiple benefits for individuals with mental disorders, including serious mental illness. Prevention Technology Transfer Center (PTTC) for Indiana. This Network's mission is to improve implementation and delivery of effective substance abuse prevention interventions, as well as provide training and technical assistance services to the substance abuse prevention field. It does this by developing and disseminating tools and strategies needed to improve the quality of substance abuse prevention efforts; providing intensive technical assistance and learning resources to prevention professionals in order to improve their understanding of prevention science, epidemiological data, and implementation of evidence-based and promising practices; and, developing tools and resources to engage the next generation of prevention professionals.

The Indiana Addictions issues Coalition is broad-based, diverse, not-for-profit organization that advocates on behalf of people with addictive disorders. Our mission is to promote recovery through advocacy, public policy, education and service.

The Indiana Commission to Combat Drug Abuse meets quarterly throughout the year to collaborate and discuss actions and ideas to defeat the drug epidemic. ICAADA Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) is a credential for prevention professionals recognized by the International Credentialing and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) and IC&RC affiliated states and countries that offer the IC&RC CPS credential.

ICJI works in partnership with state and local agencies and supports the work of Indiana's 92 Local Coordinating Councils to reduce the incidence and prevalence of substance abuse and addiction among children and adults in Indiana. Prevention Insights, formerly the Indiana Prevention Resource Center, was established to assist alcohol, tobacco and other drug (ATOD) prevention practitioners to improve the quality of their services. Since then, our purview has expanded to include mental health, problem gambling, HIV prevention, and ATOD treatment. As a committed partner to local leaders in combatting the addiction crisis in rural America, the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) has built a Rural Community Toolbox, a clearinghouse for funding, technical assistance, and other information from 16 Federal departments and agencies to support local action in rural America.

This new Evidence-Based Practices Resource Center aims to provide communities, clinicians, policy-makers and others in the field with the information and tools they need to incorporate evidence-based practices into their communities or clinical settings. SAMHSA's substance use prevention campaign helps parents and caregivers start talking to their children early about the dangers of alcohol and other drugs.

This report provides an analysis of young people's wants, hopes for the future, and goals for mental health resources and advocacy. It combines results from an MHA survey that explored what young people identified as most helpful and how they would like to impact the mental health of their communities, with descriptions of youth-driven programs that respond to the needs identified by young people. This report is designed to be a tool to promote the perspectives of young people, expand opportunities for young people's leadership, and spread programs and ideas that can be replicated in other communities.
